How Can You Help The Sailing School Davao?
Thank you for considering to support Layag Bugsay Dabaw sailing school. Our goal is to foster a successful track record of providing quality youth and adult education extending beyond Samal Island and Davao, to embrace the whole of Mindanao. In addition to providing a sailing education we also aim to provide a unique tourist attraction for Samal Island. Our goal is to serve the entire community with sailing education opportunities, starting with local schools and regardless of financial circumstances, and to provide a healthy sports activity for tourists.
Fundraising is an integral part of our program and will help us to grow our sailing school! Our goal is to raise at least US$25,000 each year. These funds will help us to pay for coaching, maintain our boats, and to provide a scholarship fund that will help us expand our community outreach.
Layag Bugsay Dabaw will provide scholarships to aspiring sailors each year based on need. Our goal is to provide the opportunity to sail to anyone - to be on the water and to benefit from learning a new skill and the life lessons that sailing teaches.
The demand for our programs has exceeded our initial expectations, which makes the need for fundraising more urgent. We offer varying options for donations to fit any budget. We also have different donation types to suit your goals in helping the school pursue its mission. Please keep us in mind as you plan your charitable giving.
