From our base in Babak we will offer our sailing dinghies to tourists and visitors so that they can experience some of the most interesting features of Samal Island from the water.
The most popular sailing adventure is to sail out to, and or around, the 'Vanishing Island'. Ever since the Vanishing Island became one of local government's projects (in partnership with PBSP and DENR) to re-establish mangroves on the island - so that it no longer 'vanishes' with the tide - the surrounding corals and the sanctuary that the mangroves offer to marine life mean that even a two hour sailing adventure brings you face-to-face with some of Mother Nature's most interesting marine characters and migratory birds.
A two hour sailing adventure to Vanishing Island for two people costs only Php1,500 plus a guide-fee of Php500. If you are experienced sailors and do not require a guide then please bring proof of sailing experience.
Please note that all Sailing Adventures may be dependent on the wind and tide. Advance booking recommended.

Our sailing dinghies are great for two-three adults or two adults plus two children. Life jackets are provided as is a waterproof-pouch for your mobile phone. We can arrange for drinks and some munchies, so that you do not have to worry about where to stop for merienda.

What should you bring? sunblock & probably a hat, and at least one mobile phone in your group
